MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Dear Friends:
Todd Eric Allen
NFB Artistic Director & CEO
It’s hard to believe this season marks 55 years of excellence in our
community. On behalf of the entire Northwest Florida Ballet (NFB)
family, thank you for everything you’ve done to help us achieve this
milestone. In celebration, we’ve put together an incredible season,
and we’re excited you’re to be part of it.
For those who joined us for Lightwire Theater’s presentation of Dino Light at Grand Boulevard, we
appreciate your support and hope you were mesmerized by the production. It was a terrific way to
kick off Season 55!
Whether you are joining us for the first time at the Mattie Kelly Art Center or you make NFB's
The Nutcracker an annual event, we're glad you're here to enjoy our 45th annual presentation of
this classic holiday fairy tale. As the only full-length version in the area, The Nutcracker includes
a spectacular cast of more than 140 performers, including NFB company members, international
guest artists, and more than 100 local children. NFB Music Director David Ott will conduct the
talented musicians of the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra (NFSO) and will provide live
musical accompaniment for all public performances.
NFB returns to the Mattie Kelly Arts Center March 8-9 to close our season with the beloved classic
Cinderella. With live music by the NFSO led by Ott, Cinderella features the acclaimed choreography
of NFB Artistic Director Todd Eric Allen and the beautiful music of Serge Prokofiev. Audiences will
be mesmerized by the cavalcade of enchanting characters, brilliant dancing, vibrant costumes
and magical scenery sure to hold you under its spell.

you for joining us for The Nutcracker and supporting the performing arts in our community. Enjoy
the show!
Cordially,
